Scalbranian Manc is principally spiritual, shamanistic, ritualistic, mixtures, applications or all of these.
The Manc is best divided into the areas of Rituals, Dances, Unguents, Potions, Attires, Poultices, Skin Scars, Skin Paintings, Symbols. Often a required result is possible in two or more ways, but few Darsha know many of them let alone all of them. A particular Darsha's way of performing their Manc is handed down from Darsha to Darsha, and may become subtly changed as ages pass. Some Manc requires group performance.
Rituals are performed by one person, usually the Darsha or someone directed by the Darsha. It usually consists of some items or ingredients, but they are mostly focus providing.
Symbols are paintings or carvings on or in a natural structure, such as a tree or rock surface.
