An average D'Jani-Sa-Ferra is tanned skinned, male and are six feet 4 four inches to six feet ten inches in height. They are between 182-210 pounds in weight, dependent upon their age and preferred weapon; those with shafted weapons or throwing tend to be lighter than those that use swords or axes as their chosen weapon. There are no female D'Jani-Sa-Ferra. They have brown hair, usually long but it could be cut to any length or style, and brown eyes. Freak D'Jani-Sa-Ferra may have blue eyes and blonde hair. Those D'Jani-Sa-Ferra that settle with Serevmen may produce children of either race likeness, although they will always be stockier and larger than typical Serevmen.
Produced from one, lone warrior, long survived from a time of ancient days, the D'Jani-Sa-Ferra have been awakened by the re-emergence of The First. Their duty is to see The First do not return to vent revenge upon the 7th Plane Of Existence. Warriors by nature, they can learn new trades, although scholarly trades are the hardest to accomplish and Mancery is difficult for them to wield, being more resistant to it than normal Serevmen.
D'Jani-Sa-Ferra are generally monogamous and Serevmen female relationships produce one young only. It is a 80% chance the child will be almost totally D'Jani-Sa-Ferra, but the remaining 20% may be anything from 90% to only 10% D'Jani-Sa-Ferra blood. D'Jani-Sa-Ferra young take around twelve Dodecates to mature, being generally bigger and tougher than other Serevmen children, they are also quieter and calmer. D'Jani-Sa-Ferra-Serevmen crossbreeds are typically like Serevmen depending upon the ratio of blood in them. The more dominant D'Jani blood will often take warrior like professions or become some form of manual worker. The higher ratioed Serevmen blood young may become anything. Like Serevmen, they can live almost anywhere given enough food, water and some shelter, they are a hardy folk, living longer lives than normal Serevmen at typically 150 Dodecates, this is again, becoming less as the bloodline is diluted. Poison or disease are also less likely to affect a D'Jani than a Serevmen.
Among their own they have no leader. They respect any monarch or ruler but find it almost impossible to bow to another as their liege as this may interfere with their destiny of protection.
Loners, they are beginning to see the worth of integrating into normal Serevmen society. This often means removing their armour and trying to be less aggressive and more aware.
D'Jani-Sa-Ferra never have lores and never have Mance abilities from birth. Using Manc is very difficult for a D'Jani to learn and many fail even after many Dodecates of study. They naturally resist against it.
They share the common tongue but speak well from a young age. Written words are easily learnt if taught to them and languages come easy to them. They seem also to understand Old Tongue instinctively.
Settling down is a new idea to the D'Jani. They have discovered it seems sensible and is worthwhile, both to learn of their new world and many find they enjoy it. They are a curious race when it comes to other peoples, but fortune, glory or power are not of interest to them.
D'Jani do not naturally play music or sing. Such arts are confusing and hard for them to master...but not impossible.
Dwellings are not usually of their choosing, they settle and copy those of others around them. If given a first choice they would choose a cave or wooden, round hall, but they care little about their accommodation and many lone D'Jani sleep bare under the skies.
