The stone giant is immense. Composed of rock flesh they are truely
elemental in nature. Varied in height from 15-80 feet tall, they are
serevmen in looks but totally hairless. Rough, angular and jagged
features with broad chests and large hands and feet. Their faces are
varied in length, shape and look, but have the usual features typical
to serevmen. They have grey, yellow, red, or black eyes and similarly
coloured tongues. They tend towards nakedness but some wear skins,
furs, or very rarely armour. Most clothes affect their ability to merge
with stone and rock and so they tend to have none.
Stone giants have the ability to merge with rock or stone. It is
typical for stone giants to have this ability. Other powers they may
have include Gogrudle, which allows them to feel through rock and like
psychometry know what is passing and what has passed; they may
have Kumpell-Drogt-Prolun, which enables them to summon earth
elementals; Ewl-Quevisht-Yarx, that enables them to form any object out
of rock, simply by manipulating it much like a clay-worker does a bowl
or spoon, and very rarely Oodon-Stullip-Ferendrun, the ability to cause
a minor earthquake or rockslide. A stone or Earth Lore is also
sometimes found among their kind, these are often considered great
leaders.
Ḋdavusar are Unlawful Neutral in alignment, which means they have
trouble with authority, even their own. This causes many fights,
battles, even civil wars among their own kind. The leader of stone
giants, normally called a Rutagh, rules because of their age, and thus
their size, but also their strength and powers. However tall and strong
a stone giant if they have no powers to back this up then they are
usually killed by underlings.
They inhabit the mountains, almost exclusively, hunting mountain goats
or any other creature they can hunt and kill for food, though they do
this as much for fun as necessity, being able to sustain their strength
on rocks. But they like the taste of flesh, much like serevmen have a
taste for honey. They can survive within the rock itself, but this
gives them little room to mix, to meet others or enjoy the luxury of
their caught prey. So they often carve out great tunnels for themselves
and some of their own kind. Often a stone giant will live alone for
many Dodecates, Decades even, but they will at some point wish to mate
or just meet others, if only for a short while. They may make their
lairs on their own, or a small tribe may do so once they have convened
together under a Rutagh. The lairs tend to contain simple chambers
split into living areas, holding areas and fighting areas. They have
been known to gather creatures or sentient races and make them fight in
their arenas.
Females are as common as males and mating is a very casual affair
happening often and without care as to the partner. As both sexes are
equal it could be foreced by either sex, but is mostly consentual. It
seems much like a greeting or acceptance of each others company than
any form of survival, ritual, or social bonding. Conception is actually
rare, about one mating in 200 will result in a female becoming
pregnant. When the female does become pregnant, she becomes more
solitary, but also hungry and demands more Idnul-Truy (food) from the
others. This can cause arguments and some trouble among the rest of the
tribe, and so the female is coerced, or even made, to live alone in a
separate chamber to give birth. She gains size in her belly, but the
womb is connected to her anus and so she passes the egg out after
around 6 Peantawaeks. The eggs is stone and looks much like a boulder,
