Not all offensive Manc are blasts, bangs, and destruction. Shocking Touch causes the target to suffer a shock that causes wracking pain in the living and possible damage in non-living targets similar to that given by lightning. The actual Manc lasts an instant, when Shocking Touch is used, but its effects are a system shock effect and so last much longer, determined by how much the target Saves. It is a stunning attack and the victim must make an immediate Save Vs Paralyse and Save Vs Hitting:-
Fail Both
Failing both causes the victim to be racked with pain and unable to do anything other than fall to the floor writhing in agony, before passing into unconsciousness for 1D10+10 Rounds. Thereafter they will revive with a successful END roll. Once awakened they will feel fatigued, and extremely groggy (INT, ABV, and Manc Level all halved) for the same duration as they were unconscious. No actual physical damage is done, the victim's system is what is shocked.
Fail Paralyse Save Only
Failing the Paralyse Save only means the victim is racked with pain and falls to the floor writhing, but does not fall unconscious and can begin to act normally once 1D6+4 Rounds have passed, although they will feel fatigued for the same length of time as they were racked with pain.
Fail Hitting Save Only
Failing the Hitting Save only means they fall unconscious for 1D10 Rounds before awakening feeling very groggy (INT, ABV, and Manc Level all halved) for the same duration as they were unconscious for.
Succeed Both
Succeeding in both means the victim is racked with pain for a Round and afterwards is very groggy (INT, ABV, and Manc Level all reduced by 25%) for 1 Round before recovering normally.
In non-living targets the item may be damaged if it would do so
normally by such an attack (similar to an electrical shock). It may
cause items to char slightly (e.g. wood or leather), catch fire (e.g.
paper or dried grass), shatter (e.g. glass or pottery), or simply
blacken (e,g, metal objects or armour). If the non-living target
conducts shocks (electrical currents) then the Shocking Touch may
travel along it and effect any living target also touching the
non-living target, however, in this situation the living targets
automatically succeed both the needed Saves and are effected as such.
Some non-living targets are unaffected by this Manc, such as animated
armours, some golems, or any item naturally resistant to shocking.
The potion must be drank and the Shocking Touch will activate when
the user next touches something they wish to Shock. If they touch
anything before hand and do not utilise the shock, it is wasted. All
the other items must be worn to be able to be activated.
The armlet can also Shocking Touch at range equal to that of the
creating Mancer's Level in feet. The shock sprouts from the palm of the
hand and effects only one target, however, this can be increased by
activating other fingers on the casting hand. An extra Power Level is
added to gain one extra target from another finger (cumulative, max: +5
Power Levels = +5 fingers). When all five fingers are utilised in this
way the palm ceases to function as the sprouting point. The sprouting
shock is almost invisible in light, seeming to be almost-transparent
white sparks intertwined with each other. In darkness it is far more
obvious.
Spell Casting:-
This Manc has no spell available to it.Item Creation:-
The potion is white, and looks like milk, but is the consistency of water.
The glove and armlet must have adorned on them somewhere (usually
stitched or sown) a red hand with a white zig-zag in its palm, or the
item must be red with a white zig-zag from the palm and down each
finger to the tips. Both must be worn to activate. They are inert when
not worn by an appropriate wearer.
