This Manc can be used tactically for defence or attack. Upon the use
of this Manc a small cloud appears at ground level and rapidly expands
to its maximum size in 1 Round. The cloud is thick, white, and damp
when entered. The mist in unaffected by weather, environmental
conditions, or activity within it. The mist acts as though trapped
within a field and merely swirls as it is disturbed. Although it
obscures vision to some degree it is not cold nor hot, but does leave
some moisture upon certain materials, such as metals or absorbent
substances like paper. However, it has no smell until entered, then it
has two effects, its smell is highly offensive to any victim inside it,
and even if they have no olfactory sense, it still causes extreme
nausea through both taste and contact with skin.
Obnoxious Mist sits upon a flat level. If cast on a slope it will
gently and slowly traverse down until it reaches a level area. If cast
upon a bridge that has small spaces within it the mist remains,
however, if the bridge has large spaces, large enough for a serevemen
to fit a leg through, then the mist may ooze its way through to the
area below.
Creatures entering the mist must make a Save Vs Poisons or double
over with nausea as if they have a Level 5 Wound. They are unable to
fight, cast Manc, or do anything except try and leave the mist at 10%
speed maximum. Even once the mist has been left, the effects continue,
but begin to fade in intensity each Round, with the Wound equivalent
reducing 1 Level pre Round. Creatures with out the sense of taste or
which have toughened skin gain a bonus to their Save Vs Poisons of +3.
Succeeding in the initial Save reduces the Wound equivalent to Level 3
and the speed reduced to only 25%, although all other aspects of the
effect remain. Victims must also use their Intelligence to find a
direction within the mist, and Endurance to move towards its edge. Both
of these attributes are halved during the Manc Duration, and failing
either means the victim is so nauseated they are disorientated and lost.
Undead are generally unaffected although Serevdumaw, Freniers, Wights, and Wolf-Wights are affected by Obnoxious Mist. Galaniŕ, Allents, and other creatures with heightened senses may find the mist too severe and may fall unconscious within it. Although the effects are severe nausea, the affected victims do not vomit, or suffer any form of actual harm once the Duration ends.
Banish Manc dispels Obnoxious Mist. Free Movement reduces the speed penalty only, tripling the speed of victims within (after their reduction due to its effects). Incorporeal beings are only affected if they would also be affected by ill-smelling odours or poisonous gasses. Gaseous Form allows normal speed within the parameters of that Manc, although the effects are otherwise still the same.
Once the Duration ends the mist dissipates over 2 Rounds and its effects fade within those 2 Rounds.
The maximum size of the mist is dependent upon the Level of the
caster, with Level 1 Mancers creating a 10-foot diameter mist that can
be 10 ft high. The mist is always far wider than it is high. See the

Obnoxious Mist is not a deadly Manc, but an incapacitating one. It
can not be moved by the user, but can be dispelled by the creator or
the wielder of the staff.

Item Creation:-
The potion is white, much like milk in colour, and must be struck against a surface to activate. Gentle pouring of the contents will activate the potion although a heavy strike in the liquid can activate it. Care must be taken with the potion when carried.
The pellets are white, and must be struck hard against a surface to break them and thus activate the Manc. They may also be placed as a trap, activating if crushed or damaged. Care should be taken when carrying Obnoxious Mist pellets.
The staff must be pointed at a target point that will be the centre of the mist.
The spell requires gestures and vocals. Missing the vocals for spontaneous casting raises the Power by 1.
