GASEOUS FORM

Sometimes stealth is essential, and so may be escape, or passage through a narrow opening. One element allows all of these: gas. Unlike a liquid that makes a noise as it trickles or drips, and unlike air which is immediately caught up in the winds and buffeted about this Manc transforms the user or target into a gas that can be at one time heavier than air, or lighter, as the user wishes. Unlike some gases this Gaseous Form does not render the user invisible. The Gaseous Form user can move as wished and includes ascension or descension along a surface. The user can not simply rise into the air more than their normal height, but requires a surface along which to travel, even if this surface is vertical. While using this Manc the user can use all their normal senses, and gains a limited form of sense unique to that of gases and mists, a form of motion or vibration sense that allows them to know where their form is and how it is interacting with its environment. Targets get a Save Vs Manc to resist.

Spell Casting:-

There are two forms of Gaseous Form:

FIRST FORM

The first form is a simpler form. In a single Round it transforms the user or target into a gas that retains its cohesion even in moderate winds and into an almost-transparent, thin, mist-like substance, often called a gas. Extremely strong winds or rapid disturbance of the immediate vicinity may cause the user to become caught up in the eddy or currents of the disturbance or winds. The user can not enter any liquids, or solids except through cracks or openings. When transformed the user's apparel, equipment or anything wielded at the time is unaffected and will fall to the floor normally. Heat and Cold are dangerous to the user as it can evaporate or condense the user if too extreme. Movement speed is a slow walking pace, even if dropping from a height. The user can return to normal form at will, but the Manc then ends. The user can not form any geometric shapes other than an amorphous, trailing mist-like form. Communication with the user is impossible except through telepathy or empathy. Targets of this form are at the user's mercy. Once the Duration ends the user transforms back to normal form in a single Round, regardless of their current position. This can cause death if in situations that do not allow the user to reform properly, such as in tiny crevices, or if on the side of a cliff. If the user returns to their clothes as the Manc ends they may redress as they reform but not re-wield any hand-held items.

Restoration and Banish Manc negates this Manc and returns the user or target back to their normal form in a single Round. Physical attacks, fire of low intensity, undead, and physical Manc is useless against a Gaseous Form user.

SECOND FORM

The second form is an advanced form. In an instant the user or target is transformed into a gas that retains its cohesion even in strong winds and into an almost-transparent, thin, mist-like substance, often called a gas. The user can enter any liquids as bubbles and still remain in cohesion as long as they keep moving. If they stop the current will begin to break their cohesion and could lead to death when the Duration ends and they reform incomplete. they may also only enter solids through cracks or openings. When transformed the user's apparel, equipment or anything wielded at the time is also transformed and remains with them. Heat and Cold are not dangerous to the user. Movement speed is up to a fast walking pace, even dropping when from a height. The user can return to normal form at will and then return to Gaseous Form all the while the Duration is still in effect. The user can form any shape they desire, including their original one but still be a gas. When moving they become an amorphous, trailing mist-like form. Communication with the user is impossible except through telepathy or empathy, or if the user makes shapes such as hand signals or even writing from their form. Targets of this form are at the user's mercy. Once the Duration ends the user transforms back to normal form instantly or up to a single Round if wished, regardless of their current position. This can cause death if in situations that do not allow the user to reform properly, such as in tiny crevices, or if on the side of a cliff.

Only Restoration negates this Manc and returns the user or target back to their normal form in a single Round.

Item Creation:-

Two potions are made upon creation, they are solid grey in colour like paint. The second form potion is dark grey. The potion may be drank or it may be poured upon the target, but if pouring over a moving target the potion may more cover other items than the intended target and effects the majority-covered target only, unless the targets are equally covered in which case the potion is wasted.

The scroll works on all that can hear the user, and they may all Save Vs Manc if they wish to resist.

The ring may be either worn or used for range casting. If worn the maximum Duration is 180 Rounds, but it may be removed or worn as wished using only those Rounds worn as a charge. However, if used at Range then that casting uses 60 of the 180 Rounds as the Duration on the target as a single charge to a maximum of 3 range charges.

The wand must be pointed at the target or touch self.

The staff may be simply held for the user to use or swung to cast upon a target at range.
