Alter Form Plant changes the form of a target plant into whatever form the caster wishes. It does not in any way alter the properties of the original plant, not does it give any new properties. Everything on the target plant, that is part of the target plant, is affected equally and may become a mixture of parts of the plant into one new form. Plants of the same species can be melded into one new form and thereby increase the mass of the new form, otherwise the individual plant mass is the maximum mass that can be altered.

This Manc will not work on animals, objects, or areas, unless that area is composed of a carpet-like plant such as grass or ivy. Sentient plant life have greater resistances against this Manc gaining a bonus of Save Vs Manc x4. High Manc beings, or highly intelligent creatures also have greater resistances against this Manc, usually +5 Save Vs Manc.

For plants smaller than a single daisy an extra Power Level is needed. For plants larger than a 30-foot tall tree an extra Power Level is needed and each increment of 15 feet after that. I.e. a 60-foot tall tree requires +2 Power Levels.

Two extra Power Levels boots the Duration to a Pentawaek. Four extra Power Levels boosts the Duration to the typical lifespan of the original plant. I.e. an annual will remain for a Dodecate. Eight extra Power Levels make the Duration become Permanent. As long as the new form does not hinder the plants natural living conditions, or its biological functions in any way the plant will continue to thrive normally, and thus possibly grow even larger, taller, or thicker. This really only applies to extended Durations however, and the plant will retain any new growth once it reforms back to its original state.

Restoration and Banish Manc will cure this Manc, as it does once the Duration has ended the plant then reforms back to its original state as if nothing had happened.

Range may be increased for each item or spell by increasing the Power Level by 1 for each extra sixty feet range added.

The caster's Level determines how long it takes to reach the desired plant form. The minimum time taken is a mere motion of the hands, but this time is doubled for each Level under Magi Level. A High Forward takes 2˝ Rounds shape the plant, while an Acolyte (Level 1) takes 5 Rounds.

While shaping or forming, the caster must be able to see a proportion of the target plant, at least 10%, dependent on its size. The caster can not cast Alter Form Plant on just a part of a target plant.

Vocals are unnecessary to cast this Manc, but decrease the Power Level by 1. However, hand gestures are essential and their absence increases the Power Level needed by +4. Touch for large plants (30-foot tall tree for example) reduces the Power Level by 1.

Spell Casting:-

As already stated vocals are optional, decreasing the Power Level by -1. Gestures are required, their absence increases the Power Level by +4

Item Creation:-

The effects of these items are the same as for the spell casting, the creator's Level determines size of target plant, and time to shape and form the plant.

To create the items for Alter Form Plant both hand gestures and vocals are essential or a combined Power increase of 6 Levels is added to the item being created.

The Mancer must stand in a triangular Üolarm and using vocals and hand gestures imbue the item with the Manc of Alter Form. The Mancer must also have a plant part on their person or in contact with them while casting. A circle can be substituted but adds a Power Level to the difficulty. Tarse leaves will lower the Power by one Level. Oratory and Artistry are both important for this Manc to work.
