Here are lists of possible names and words that I hope you can use to alter, change or re-connect to make interesting names for your characters. It is not suggested that all of these names are suitable for contemporary characters, and I would advise you check any name with your DM before use and try to keep the feel of your character in finally deciding what their name could be.
Included with each name is a pronunciation guide, the meaning of the word or name and the earliest rough date that I can trace it to.
