LONG E-CLIP
The Long E-Clip is a standardised power source for high-technology
devices and weaponsthat holds more charge than the standard E-Clip. Predominately used for weapons of a laser or
plasma nature, some other devices do utilise the clips as a power
source also. Each weapon, or device, uses the charge in a Long E-Clip at
different rates and in some cases different ways. Generally, most
weapons have a set number of shots that they can have with a Long
E-Clip. After the Long E-Clip has made that many shots it will require
recharging.
Recharging a Long E-Clip can be accomplished at a recharging station, a
shop that offers the recharging of Long E-Clips for a price. It is also
possible for a character with the Weapons Engineer Skill to recharge a Long
E-Clip given access to the correct equipment and a power source to
charge from. The time taken to recharge a Long E-Clip depends on the power
of the power source and the efficiency of the recharging equipment. (By
default, an empty Long E-Clip takes around 1D6 hours to recharge at a
recharging station, and possibly 1D12+1 hours when just using only
scavenged parts, with a power source and Weapons Engineer skill only.)
