1863 REMINGTON .45 REVOLVER
Also known as the New Model Army, this is a single action
(hammer must be cocked before firing) revolver that fires .45
caliber rounds. It takes 1
melee round (15 seconds) to reload, except O.C.C.'s: Gunslinger,
Lawman,
Gunfighter, or Bounty Hunter, who reload in half a melee round and uses
up half of the character's attacks that (or the next) melee round. The
Remington New Model army does not need a speed loader to make reloading
faster, but another cylinder, preloaded, can replace the empty cylinder
of the gun in the same time it takes to use a speed loader: 1 melee
action (if Gunslinger,
Lawman,
Gunfighter, or Bounty Hunter O.C.C.s) or 2 melee actions (if any other
O.C.C.).
M.D.C. Damage: NA
S.D.C. Damage: .45 = 4D6+3 per round.
R.O.F.: With W.P. Handguns, each shot (cocking the hammer with
the thumb, and a pull of the trigger) counts as 1 melee action/attack.
Without W.P. Handguns, this takes 2 melee actions/attacks (cocking the
hammer and then pulling the trigger).
