ENTANGLE

ENTANGLE = ROLL 1D20 AND GET BETTER THAN 'TO STRIKE' ROLL

Entangle is a defence action. The defender can attempt to trap the weapon or arm of an attacker. This is done instead of Parry or Dodge, and takes up one melee attack.

An entangleis successfulif the defender rolls above the attacker's To Strike roll. It takes one attack and a successful roll to entangle to keep an opponent's arm or weapon entangled every melee Round. In order to get free, the entangled attacker must roll a Dodge against the entangle roll.

Defenders do not win ties against attackers when using Entangle. Attacks from the rear or which are not seen can not be entangled.
