This Manc imbues a victim with the emotion chosen. The victim may Save Vs Manc to resist the Manc, success resulting in the emotion being planted in the victim but only for one Round. Failure results in the emotion being planted up to the Duration of the Manc.
While the victim has the emotion they will endure its benefits or penalties. The emotion planted is a natural feeling one and does not control the victim or dictate their thoughts or actions, but it is there and is relentless until the Duration wears off or it is cancelled. Emotion can be cancelled by Banish Manc or release by the caster.
This Emotion Manc has 5 different emotions that may be planted in a victim:-
Despair - Causes the victim to feel a sense of no hope, of futility in their actions or situation. It may cause the victim to flee or surrender. ABV -3 x Level of caster. INT - 20.
Horror - Causes the victim to feel a sense of utter revulsion or dread. May cause the victim to flee or be paralysed with shock. ABV -10. INT -10. DEX -10. STR -10.
Courage - Causes the victim to be invigorated with bravery and confidence, willing to take on a task they would not expect to succeed in. ABV +2 x Level of caster. DBV +2 x Level of caster.
Calm - Causes the victim to become clear-headed and steady, any fear (not Manc-based fear) or indecision is removed. Save Vs Paralysation + Level of caster. Precision is increased giving a +1 bonus to Manc casting, and + Level of caster x2 to any missile or archery skills and any skill requiring clear thoughts and a steady hand.
Hope - Causes the victim to gain a feeling that they will succeed or survive, that the situation is not final or doomed to failure. DBV +2 x Level of caster. ABV + Level of caster. Causes a re-roll of any Save Vs Paralysation due to fear, or loss. Gives a +1 to any skill roll.
