Causes the touched victim to become a corpse. The victim instantly falls down and is too all detection dead. No heart beat, no breathing, nothing except what a dead body may show. the skin becomes grey and dry, the muscles wither and the eyes shrivel. It would be apparent that the body has been naturally preserved in a dry environment for up to a Dodecate. However, although the victim appears dead, they are in fact not. The caster at casting has the choice to either cast it Aware or Unaware. Aware and the victim can do nothing, can not speak or even move their eyes, but they can hear and smell as normal and if, for whatever reason their eyes are opened then they can also see, but only in the direction their eyes are. The Unaware victim is simply that, completely unaware and in torpor. Undead can not detect the victim is under a form of Manc, although Manc-sensitive creatures may be able to determine something of Manc lingers about them, and they will be detected by Detect Manc.
Neither the aware or unaware victim, whilst in this state, can feel nothing. Once the duration ends, however, the victim regains their former looks and vitality. Any damage done to the corpse is, however, still maintained.
Restoration, Free Movement and Banish Manc ends the Manc immediately. The caster can also end the duration prematurely at any time wished.
