PLANT COVER

Once cast the user may take on the properties of any plant that they touch as wished. Properties that could be chosen could include: colour, bark-skin, poison resistance, cold resistance, shooting spines, fire resistance, and even become poisonous like the plant. Properties taken to use upon an other can only be used in a similar way to the plant's means of affect. (I.e. a poisonous when touched plant means the user must also touch to poison another. A plant that is healing when eaten means the user must somehow give another a part of them to consume (usually blood or hair etc.) to heal them.) For themselves they can use the power at will.

Instead of just gaining a single property the user can instead take all the properties of the plant and become the plant, but they still retain some resemblance when closely studied. With this complete transformation, the user can only become a plant of similar size to themselves and not a tree even then. They will take on all the leaves and stems etc. but they will still retain their eyes, ears, hands, feet etc. but they will be hard to distinguish unless examined very closely, or the user decides to move. When moving in complete transformed state, the user is reduced dependent upon the type of plant chosen. A long stemmed plant could reduce their normal movement by only half (such as sunflowers, bushes or dogwoods), whilst climbing plants would severely reduce movement (such as reeds, ivy etc.). Area plants (such as grass or algae etc.) would negate any movement beyond a simple shrug.

Once the Duration ends all properties gained are instantly lost. This Manc can not be dispelled at will, however, Restoration, Banish Manc and if appropriate any other Manc that dispels the property taken will cancel this Manc. True Seeing will also reveal the user of Plant Cover to them.

If the plant is sentient then only certain elements can be gained through Plant Cover and the sentient plant gets a Saving Throw Vs Manc if they wish to resist. Evil plants can also be used but the property gained is random and the user has no control over what they may gain.
