The zarinura is the Scalbraner hunter and follower of tracks. Since childhood they have followed the other zarinura in the tribe and learned from them the skills of the wild, moving carefully and quietly, the ability to creep upon prey and slay it quickly and proficiently, how to find good herbs for medicines and how to travel long distances to get rare supplies that the tribe may need from time to time.
A zarinura may be trained from the youngest age, and are predominately, but not exclusively male. Natural affinities with stealth or an understanding of plants are main requisites to being chosen as a zarinura. Training is mostly informal, just following the others and being punished if that allows a food source to get away or if a limited plant is picked out of season. It is more a way of life for the zarinura, as they often find themselves far from home for a few days, they tend to learn the basics quickly.
