• Advower (give of their heart) marriage.

• Cairngrom (Stone folk) a member of the race of Cairngroms

• Cerome (lead performer of ceremonies) executor.

• Dran (young male) son.

• Fand (of blood and bone) family

• Gorduch (trek, travel or journey) when a cairngrom reaches an age at which leaving their homeland is considered most proper.

• Halldrel (hall passage) street.

• Mawldwin (immature female) daughter.

• Mater (wife, widow or mother) title of a married, widowed and mother female. female Cairngroms enter materdom upon taking vows with a male, but learn the skills of materdom earlier in life.

• Materdom (wifery) the profession of being a wife, widow or mother. It is considered a full time career as well as a privilege.

• Tandronder (vowed friend) a person whom a Cairngrom has vowed friendship, a tandronder is therefore respected among other Cairngroms.

• Vandu (honour) great respect.

• Vanduldin (honoured) ‘bridegroom’ title when a male is advowered.

• Vandure (honourer)‘bride’ title when a female is advowered.
