Spells are practices of Manc that has no physical
imbuement to store and are used for spontaneous casting by some
Mancers. Spells are unavailable to the Magician, who views spells to be
a chaotic, gamble with Manc in the environment. They see it as an
uncontrolled drain on the natural Manc surrounding the Mancer and
unreliable. Spells are available to Wizards or Clerics, via their
deities favour of course, and are the realm of speciality for Sorcerers.
As already stated, spells are not imbued into items, although Mancers
can store them in themselves. Spontaneous casting is the ability to
cast spells using the natural Manc within themselves as a charge. This
means that they need a short while for the Manc to return to them. Once
re-energised, which varies dependent upon the type of Mancer and their
Level, they may again cast another spell.
Spells, just like material Manc, can only be performed by the Mancer
that their Level gives them the ability to cast. Unless within a
high-Manc area, or due to some other form of boost to their Level,
Mancers still can only cast spells within their normal level ranges.
