David says...
Definitions - to help clear up any confusion over what exactly
a Prospective Member is etc.
- MEMBER
- Members are people that have at some time paid £1 to attend the Hobbits
Hole in the last 9 months. Members have full voting rights.
- SLEEPING MEMBERS
- Sleeping members are people that were at one time members but that have
not attended, paying the £1, in the last 9 months. Sleeping Members cannot
vote. A Sleeping Member will automatically (no vote required) be converted
to a Member once they have attended for 2 weeks in the last 9 months.
- TRIAL MEMBERS
- Trial Members are people that wish to become full members and have been
invited by an existing Member. They have a 4 week attendance trial, upon the
final week attended a vote is held whether to accept the Trial Member. If
there are not enough votes present to constitute a valid vote then Trial
Membership is maintained for a further week. Trial Members cannot vote and
do not pay to attend.
- EX-MEMBER
- Ex-Members are people who have had their Membership revoked, either by
majority vote of the Members or voluntarily.
