History:
The being that came to be known as Colossus was in fact an alien from a distant planet called Vegan-4. Titled Agent 7M the scout flew his warp-drive spacecraft to Earth and landed atop a towering peak in the Bora-Buru region of Africa.Unable to descend the steep sides of the peak he looked down and saw a village, which he terrified and they assumed he was some kind of god come to Earth. The villagers named the being Colossus. Colossus demanded a human sacrifice, although his intention was to study the victim only. Hearing of this, Captain America alerted his fellow Avengers Giant-Man and Wasp who promptly flew there in their jet. As they flew by the Colossus, he struck at their jet causing it to crash, but not before they bailed out.
Giant-Man and Wasp ascended the peak and faced Colossus. Giant-Man
was restricted in the height he could attain during this time, and
although he valiently tried to grow to the same height as Colossus he
became weak and dizzy and was no match for Colossus. Luckily for the
heroes, with Wasp attacking him and making Colossus lose his balance
and Giant-Man constantly shrinking to avoid blows, Colossus thought the
pair must have magical powers, as they seemed to keep dissapearing.
Fearing this Colossus fled back to his ship and blasted off, returning
home to advise that the Earth be removed from potential invasion lists
due to their great powers.
