TSR's Marvel heroes had 11 statistics to their characters, seven primary: Fighting, Agility, Strength, Endurance, Reason, Intuition and Psyche and four secondary ones: Health, Karma, Resources and Popularity.
Health and Karma were derived from primary statistics and Resources and Popularity by a default rank. This means we can do away with the secondary statistics as they do not determine the finished character. The primary statistics however, must be used for the conversion process as these form the heart of the hero.

E.g.:
Spiderman with Amazing Agility now has 130% DAM Dexterity, impressive eh?
Doctor Doom with Incredible Endurance now has 100% DAM Stamina, he won't need a doctor much!
Magneto has Incredible Reason and Good Intuition, therefore the Reason is used and he now has 100% DAM Mind, very clever individual!

Talents are replaced by the nearest DAM skill equivalent.
Contacts can be generated as normal NPC's.
Powers need to checked against the DAM Super Powers, based on the old Marvel Ultimate Powers Book.
Resources need to be determined between the player and DM.
Popularity can still be used if wished by the DM, I would suggest using it as a modifier against a DAM Charisma roll, but of course only to those people who either know or have heard of the hero/villain.
