Advancement
in this skill is slow. Ratings above 40% must take a Speciality disease
at half basic skill Rating. This skill and any specialities then
only gain a maximum of 1 XP per time. Whenever the basic skill gains
another 5% then a new speciality must be taken at half the basic skill
rating again. However a new Speciality may be taken at any time after
this by reducing this basic skill as wished and adding to the new
speciality. May not lower basic skill Rating below 40 in this way.
Specialities half the cure time and give a bonus to the victim's
applicable stat to resist the disease. Note that some diseases are
incurable and only curing the symptoms is possible.
