PHARMACOLOGY

The study of drugs and their uses. Allows dispensing of drugs and their effects and doses. At a medium level it allows the creation and working knowledge of a wide range of differing types of drugs. At higher levels (linked with Chemistry and/or Biology/Botony) gives a true understanding of their make up and manufacture. This skill does not give the doctor-like powers of diagnosis, but once the diagnosis has been performed gives knowledge of the most effective drugs to be used.

Can be used to make illegal substances and cosmetics. Linked with Medicine, First Aid, Law, Business, Human Biology, and xenobiology. Low to Medium-Tech Levels this skill produces organic and inorganic substances available to that Tech-Level. At Higher Tech-Levels it allows the alteration of known substances and creation of new products and synthetic varients.
