14. GAMBLING:

Skill and technique in winning luck based games; includes rules and 'cheats' for various games. This is a catch-all skill but specialization is possible giving greater bonuses.

No skill: (MIND + 1D10 -1D10) ÷10 = Win Chance 47-57: MIND +3D10 -1D10 = Win Chance
1-5: MIND +1D10 -3D10 = Win Chance 58-68: MIND +4D10 -2D10 = Win Chance
6-15: MIND + 1D10 -2D10 = Win Chance 69-79: MIND +4 D10 -1D10 = Win Chance
16-25: MIND + 2D10 -2D10 = Win Chance 80-84: Mind +4D10 = Win Chance
26-35: MIND + 2D10 -1D10 = Win Chance 85-99: MIND +5D10 = Win chance
36-46: MIND +3D10 -2D10 = Win Chance 100+ MIND +6D10 = Win chance

The Gambling skill is only rolled when requiring about rules or knowledge of a game or technique. Each character with Gambling skill rolls and the highest result is the winner. Rolls can be per game, per day or per hand/throw dependent on detail wished.

Experience for this skill is always gained at the rate of 1 point per XP given (except Crit success which gives 2), never more, regardless of how much Gambling was used or done.

Once the gambling skill reaches 65% the skill must take Specialisations, gaining 30% in each one, and can only take another when the base skill gains an extra 5% cumulatively.
