18. CLIMB

Ability to climb physically and have knowledge of how to climb. Also includes at least some basic knowledge of the character's typical Tech-Level climbing gear and how to maintain and operate that gear.

Default: DEX ÷ 10 = climb skill.
A roll must be made each DEX ÷ 10.
Climb for STR + STA ÷ 20 in time before resting. A Paralyse saving throw must be made every 10 rolls or fear grips character and only a following successful Paralyse saving throw and MIND roll will enable them to continue, (this may be modified by Leadership or any other appropriate skill or ability).

Skilled: A successful climb roll must be made each DEX ÷ 2 in feet climbed (up or down).

Time taken to climb DEX ÷ 2 feet depends on surface, height, holds, angle of descent or ascent.
Climbers can climb for thier STR + STA ÷ 10 in hours, but must rest when minutes have passed equal to thier (STA + MIND) ÷ 2, for at least 75 - STA in minutes.
When STA ÷ 10 hours have passed they must also rest for at least 100 - STA x 2 in minutes.
