Block And Sweep:
This uses the arm to counter an incoming attack. Success
negates the effect as the blow is deflected away with a grab or block,
and the attacker uses the momentum to sweep the opponent off their
feet, with one of the following:-
- Leg sweep. +15 penalty to hit roll. Victim must Save Vs Hitting or be stunned for 1D4-1 rounds,
losing initiative next round. 1D4 Level Wounds are done to
the victim, unless the ground falling on is somehow more dangerous than
normal (littered with rubble, shattered glass etc.).
- Arm-twist and flip. +25 penalty to hit roll. Victim must Save Vs Hitting or be stunned for 1D4 rounds,
losing initiative next round. Further damage and effects are as for Falling a distance equal to the height of the attacker's waist.
- Body-check and throw. +40 penalty to hit roll. Victim must Save Vs Hitting or be stunned for 1D4+1 rounds,
losing initiative next round. Further damage and effects are as for Falling a distance equal to the height of the attacker's waist.
Against melee weapons Block And Sweep causes half damage to
the blocking limb and none to the attacking weapon.
