Archaic Weapons - Entangle:
Applicable to: Net, Whip, some Flails.
Weapon is used to entangle the victim thereby causing them to gain a
+4D6 penalty to next Rounds initiative roll and roll on following table:
1D100 | RESULT |
1-37 | Completely entangled must roll DEX ÷ 10 each Round to escape, chance is doubled for each consecutive Round following. Cannot walk, run or fight until free. |
38-60 | Half entangled must roll DEX ÷ 5 each Round to escape, chance is doubled for each consecutive Round following. May crawl or walk ¼ move each Round. |
61-75 | Partial entanglement, must roll DEX halved each Round to escape. May crawl, walk or run ¼ move each Round. |
76-90 | Limb entangled, determine limb struck, must roll DEX to unentangle limb. May only move ½ move if limb is leg. |
91-100 | Object carried or appropriate item is entangled, must spend Round unentangling to remove. Cannot fight if item is weapon. |
